Course Overview
Start your career in plumbing – learn how to deal with leaky pipes, water systems and drainage. A qualification in Plumbing will help you learn the trade and progress onto an NVQ These qualifications are intended for those wanting to gain the skills and knowledge necessary to enter the plumbing industry.
At Level 2 this consists of a basic understanding, whilst the Level 3 Diploma equips learners with advanced plumbing knowledge and skills.

On the job, you’ll work as an employee, alongside experienced staff members. Off the job, you’ll learn with Newcastle College though a combination of learning methods that may include; day release at college, online assessments and assessments in your workplace.

Each Apprenticeship involves a structured programme of training leading to a recognised qualification, and they are available at different levels, letting you choose the speed you wish to learn.
